My Prelude

Hi, my name is Kirti, however, many people pronounce it as ‘Kerti’, ‘Kitty’ and sometimes ‘Kilti’. It used to be a little frustrating but now it’s very normal to me.

Talking about myself, I am a very homely girl and like spending time with my sisters. I have 3 sisters, Vicky, Nisha and Puja. There are all elder than me. I am actually “pampered” at home. If I were to think about it, I am like a princess at home. I do not have to do anything while my sisters have to help out in the house chores.

If I were to describe myself, I would say everything and nothing because I am still figuring this one out. This is because, I really do know how to describe myself, however since I have to, I am a little rude, caustic and of course very lazy when it comes to doing house work on the flip side. On the positive side, I find myself very cool. Cool in the sense that it is very difficult for anyone to make me angry and even if I do get angry, it is very hard for me to stay that way.

Now talking about my friends, I have four very close friends in school and they are Jia Ping, Ying Xuan, Sandra and Chun Hui. We have been friends for 2 years now and we are very close. However, as I remember, we have had only two outings together. Anyways, I also have a pen pal, Zee, for the past 2 years. I do not know if it is appropriate to call her a pen pal as we do not write to each other but we email. She is from Denmark and she writes to me about her life and many other things. She actually considers me her best pal as she told me that I am the only person whom she confides in. When she wrote that to me, I felt very touch.

Anyways, talking about school, I am currently studying in Chong Boon Secondary School. I do not know the difference between schools in Japan and in Singapore, but one thing is for sure, it is very stressful here in Singapore. This is because the first priority is given to education. Anyways, the subjects that I am taking are English, Chinese, E-maths, Geography, Social Studies, Pure Chemistry, Pure Physics and A-maths. So far, is been alright but just a little more stressful than Secondary 1 and 2.

This was my introduction, even though very short, but I hope it has given you a gist about me.
